As a benefit to our parents, we offer a before and after school care program called Sunrise/Sunset on site in the JP II gym or library. Our goal is for all students to have fun before and after school and to leave with a smile on their face and lifelong memories! Every day each student is provided a nutritious snack. Your child will have the opportunity to go outside, play in the gym, as well as have the option to do arts and crafts, games, or complete homework.
Times:
Sunrise begins as early as 6:30 am and goes until 7:45 am. Sunset starts immediately following dismissal at 3:00 pm – 5:30 pm. Parents will be provided a code to enter the building before and after school hours to pick up their child.
Registration:
Your child must be currently enrolled at our school to attend sunrise/sunset. During the enrollment process you have the opportunity to check yes or no if your child will be attending for the school year. If you decide to enroll your student later in the year you can add funds to the sunrise/sunset prepay account in your FACTS Family Portal. Directions on how to do so are below.
Cost:
Each child will be charged $1.50 for each 15 minutes/$6 per hour. Each family will receive a PIN number to log in when your child arrives and leaves for the day when you enroll your child. To add funds on your child’s account log into your FACTS Family Portal here , navigate to financial, click add funds to the prepay account, sunrise/sunset.
